On last Friday’s latenightseth, Judy Blume discussed today’s parents and the growing trends of censorship. In this interview, she told Meyers that parents have even gone so far as to complain about the scene in Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing where a young boy swallows a frog, which was well-received when it was published in 1972 and how each generation of parents afterwards have found it to be too controversial for children.
